Terri started sailing in college when she attended St. Mary’s College of Maryland. She joined the St. Mary’s College Sailing Team racing 420’s. Inspired by a professor who lived aboard, she made the decision to someday buy a boat and live-aboard.
In 2010, Terri embarked on the journey to buy a live-aboard cruising boat. As Terri recalls, the experience was rushed and confusing. Turns out those teaching and organizational skills would come in handy years later when Terri became a yacht broker while working as a middle school teacher. Terri vowed to educate and explain the boat buying and selling process to her valued clients. Since Terri never does anything “half-way” her part-time yacht broker business quickly became a full time endeavor! Terri’s 24/7 work ethic, combined with honesty, integrity and commitment to the customer experience has made Terri a successful yacht broker.
In early 2024 Terri decided to grow her business and start Adventure Yacht Sales focusing on helping clients make their adventures become reality. She opened her office in Stuart and quickly expanded to the Carolinas and the Chesapeake.
Terri has since sold her first Island Packet and purchased an Island Packet 380 to keep in the Chesapeake where she spends the summer. Terri recently purchased a completely refit 1993 Island Packet 29 that survived a hurricane. Legacy represents Terri’s affinity for “legacy” Island Packets and serves as command central for Adventure Yacht Sales in Stuart, FL.
Terri is active in the Seven Seas Cruising Association and Women Who Sail. She is a US Sailing Instructor and holds a USCG 100 ton Masters license. She splits her time between Solomons in the Chesapeake and Stuart, Florida.

Caitlyn grew up sailing in the Chesapeake Bay where she found her passion for the water at a young age. She always knew that she wanted to pursue a profession in the maritime industry. By her mid 20’s Caitlyn was a Dockmaster at a Norfolk, Virginia marina all the while owning and operating a boat bottom cleaning and detailing business. At 30 she decided to go cruising on her Bristol 35.5 to Florida, Bahamas, and Puerto Rico. Caitlyn started a vessel delivery business and gained a multitude of knowledge of many different makes and models of power and sailboats. She then joined the commercial maritime industry aboard tugboats working on the West Coast, Gulf and East Coast. She holds a USCG 200 Ton Master Near Coastal, 500 Ton Mate Near Coastal and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Adventure Yacht Sales. Caitlyn lives aboard her Cape Dory Motor Sailor MS300 in Washington, NC. Caitlyn serves the Carolinas and Virginia.

Representing a lifetime of knowledge and experience, Colin grew up in Miami, FL sailing on Biscayne Bay and the Bahamas out of the Coral Reef Yacht Club. His dad operated a sail loft where Colin spent his youth, boating with his parents and running around the bay in his whaler. This would transfer into his adult life working at the loft with his dad, purchasing the loft with his brother and creating a service side for systems not related to sails and rigging.
Many boats later, both sail and power, he now owns Mack Yacht Services, a full-service boat yard located in the Manatee Pocket in Stuart, FL. Incorporating the ability to broker vessels with servicing them, furthers his ability to provide his customers with excellent service, whether they are trying to sell their boat or are looking for their next. Colin brings a wealth of knowledge on all things yachting.
