Walkthrough
Boarding IMPETUOUS is easy via a wide articulating passerelle or four side boarding gates. The aft deck has both fixed and loose seating for dining, a wet bar and easy steps to the boat deck.
The Salon is entered via counter balanced doors. The décor is warm and inviting with Pomelli and Sapele mahogany. An aft facing L-shaped sofa and four other chairs provide seating. An entertainment center and bar area are to starboard. Forward is the open dining area with plenty of storage.
Stairs in a clever up over down arrangement are forward. The large three deck elevator is in this area.
Forward to starboard is the Day Head and the Master suite with his/her head.
To port is the commercial Galley and access to the Crew area.
Going up the stairs starting forward is the Pilothouse with bench seating, a Captain’s suite with a queen berth, a Day Head and the Skylounge with two leather sofas and entertainment center and bar area. The elevator has a landing on the starboard side.
The boat deck next aft has a 4,000 lb. knuckle boom crane, a gas grill and a sunlounge area when the tender is launched.
The Flybridge above has a small helm, seating for ten, a walk behind bar with four bar stools, a jacuzzi, a sun pad and a landing for the elevator.
BELOW DECKS
Steps from the Dining area lead below to a Master foyer with four cabins. Two ensuite twin cabins are forward, aft are two queen berth cabins with ensuite heads.
Salon
Entered via centered counterbalanced doors, the Salon is open and continues forward to include the dining area. The joinery in the Salon is a mix of Sapele and Pomelli mahogany. The overhead has removable upholstered panels set between a slightly coffered ceiling detail.
Either side of the entry doors are fixed sidelights. Lying in front of each window is a newly upholstered (9/24) arm chair. Further outboard are cabinets and open shelves disguising the engine room air trunks and bosun lockers.
Next forward are two new (9/24) blue fabric swivel barrel chairs. Next forward is a newly upholstered (9/24) L-shaped five cushion sofa facing aft and inboard. Lying in front is a new large round ottoman. Each side of the couch has a built-in end table with a drawer and storage cabinet. Being custom built each section of the couch has storage below. Each end of the sofa has a small clever aircraft style pop-up table hidden in the arm rest.
The starboard side of the Salon has a series of four cabinets aft and four slightly taller cabinets forward. The aft cabinet houses the salon entertainment electronics including a Denon Imax In Command AV receiver, a Sony Blue Ray player, a Direct TV HD receiver and two Apple TV receivers. Next forward is a pop-up 43” Samsung TV.
Going forward the cabinets contain storage, a Hoshizaki clear ice maker, a six shelf wine cooler, a Subzero drink refrigerator, pull out bar storage and the salon’s hidden A/C controllers. The raised area has a marble top and an under-counter bar sink to serve as a service bar.
Outboard are three large windows with electrically operated Duette shades to match. Also in this area are multiple overhead halogen lights, full surround sound speakers and a fire/smoke detector.
Dining Salon
Next forward and open to the Salon is the Dining Salon. Separating the two areas is a marble topped banquette of twelve drawers facing forward. The dining table lies athwartship with eight newly upholstered (9/24) chairs but plenty of room for ten to dine. Over the table is a small tray ceiling detail with a new hanging (9/24) light fixture. Also in the dining area are stereo speakers, a smoke/fire alarm and access doors to the port and starboard side decks.
All the way to starboard is a raised panel area that disguises the three deck elevator. Installed at the original time of build, the elevator is both unobtrusive and fully functional. The elevator sole measures 46” x 40” and is large enough for a wheelchair and an attendant.
Forward of the dining area are stairs to above from the starboard side and occupying the same area are stairs to below on the port side. A Galley service door is to port.
Starboard Side Companionway/Day Head
Going forward of the side deck entry door is a stewardess locker followed by the Day Head. The Day Head is surprisingly large and has a Headhunter toilet, 2 door vanity with a green marble top that matches the sole. Three large house side windows are covered with Duette shades. To port is a pocket door to the Galley. Forward is the Master suite.
Master Suite
Entered via an extra wide raised panel door to starboard the Master cabin has a very large walk-in locker to port with cedar shoe racks and plenty of storage. Forward and outboard is another locker with double doors.
The king size master berth is on centerline facing aft with drawer storage below, two port and two starboard. Twin free standing nightstands with two drawers each are port and starboard. Twin sconce lights are on raised panels above the nightstands. An upholstered headboard set upon raised paneling is at the head of the bed. A tray ceiling detail roughly the size of the bed is above.
To both port and starboard are extra wide raised panel doors accessing the His and Her Heads.
On the port side of the Master is a new free standing leather topped desk (9/24). Either side of the desk are three drawer cabinets with wood tops. Outboard are three fixed deadlights behind electrically operated Duette shades.
To starboard is a bank of twelve raised panel drawers with a wood top and three deadlights and electrically operated Duette shades above.
At the foot of the berth behind two retractable doors is the cabin’s entertainment center with an LG 37” TV, Blue Ray player, Apple TV, a Denon AV receiver, a Sentry digital safe and three dresser drawers below. Outboard is another locker for additional storage. Also in the master cabin are ten overhead halogen lights, a 5 channel stereo speaker system, a smoke/fire sensor, hidden digital A/C controls and a carpeted sole. Newly refreshed selected soft goods and décor items give the master cabin an updated look.
HIS and HERS Heads
To starboard is the “His” head with a marble sole, corner vanity with an Onyx top with an undermount sink and widespread faucet. There is a three panel mirror above. The toilet is a Headhunter model. Six cabinet doors offer abundant storage.
The port side head is the “Hers” head with a matching marble sole, larger vanity with two cabinets below and four additional cabinets either side. The countertop is Onyx with widespread faucet. Above the Headhunter toilet are two large storage lockers.
Located between the two heads behind frosted glass doors is a marble shower with a handheld and wall mounted fixture. Forward within the shower area is a Jacuzzi tub with a wall mounted or hand held fixture. Both heads have ample overhead lights, exhaust fans and A/C vents.

A Note About Service Intervals
The CAT Maintenance Manual requires a 7500 hour service once 512,500 gallons of fuel has been consumed by each engine. “Impetuous” had her top end service at 7,700 hours with only 153,000 gallons of fuel consumed by her engines. The service was undertaken because of engine hours, but as a testament to her low load cruising, she had only consumed 30% of the allowable fuel that dictates a 7500 hour service.
