Description
This is sport fishing as it is meant to be. Welcome aboard Swashbuckler, a Custom McKee 28 Pilothouse. This boat has the power and tankage to handle fishing offshore, a tuna tower to help find the fish, and a pilothouse to shelter you on the way back. Certified by the US Coast Guard as UNSINKABLE, this trailerable workhorse will get you to the fish in comfort and safety.
Coming onboard aft you see the twin 300 HP Suzukis that have never had ethanol gasoline put in them. You enter the cockpit area with a standing Battle Station, six gunnel mounted rod holders, a port storage box and starboard fish box under the deck. A 52 gallon life-bait well is incorporated into the steps going up to the tuna tower.
The tuna tower easily folds down for transport. You have a soft-top bimini with all controls and navigation equipment needed to con the boat from this location.
Going forward on either side brings you to the good-size foredeck area with anchor locker. Looking back, you will see the pilot house windows and the radar system up top.
From the cockpit going into the pilot house, the con station is on the starboard side with all controls and the navigator is seated on the port. Both seats Air Ride seats designed to smooth out the passage. The Portuguese windows forward help protect from glare and contribute to the 360 degree view this protected area gives you.
Forward and down is the cabin with an electric head and two berths.
She also comes with a 12000 lb Road King aluminum trailer which is good for short trips. For longer trips, the trailer’s brakes will need to be addressed.
Swashbuckler has been lovingly cared for and properly used by her present owners. She is on her trailer in Harker’s Island ready for her new skipper. Give us a call today to schedule a time to see this great boat.
